Candace + David // DIY Summer Wedding in Gallatin, Tennessee

Candace and David said their vows in an idyllic little country church, surrounded by rolling, grassy Tennessee pastures, a heavy dose of that July sunshine and humidity we know so well here in the South, and just the right amount of family and friends.

Their ceremony was in the same white chapel David's parents said "I do" in 25 years before. The same church David's grandparents attend every Sunday. And the reception was a sweet and simple affair at David's grandparents' beautiful log home nearby.

All the sweetly rustic details were attended to by family and friends, the ceremony officiated by Candace's uncle, and the reception hosted by grandparents.

There's nothing quite like a simple summertime wedding in the country, especially when the sun starts to go down, the fireflies come out, and the dancing starts.

Congratulations, Candace + David! May the joy and beauty of your wedding day just be a little taste of what's to come!

xoxo,

Caitlin
